Activist S.Q. Masood won young achiever award in the Civil Society Summit at Bangalore

Hyderabad: A young RTI and social activist from Hyderabad Syed Qutubuddin Masood was awarded young achiever award at recently concluded Civil Society summit-2012 at Indian social institute, Benson town, Bangalore.

Civil society summit is a self-organized knowledge and networking event of civil society in India. The primary goal of the summit is to bring Human rights and social activists from different stream together for a constructive deliberation.

According to the civil society summit the young achiever award annually is conferred to a social activist with age of less than 35 years, to ensure young activists whose services are unrecognized gets acknowledgment.

Third civil society summit has conferred this award to S.Q. Masood for his contribution, courage and commitment shown by him in engaging with different movements in Hyderabad. Masood has worked tirelessly to protect heritage structures and lakes in and around the old city of Hyderabad.
