PM assures justice for Muslim youth falsely accused of terrorism

New Delhi: A delegation of senior leaders of various political parties under the leadership of Ram Vilas Paswan met the Prime Minister on Monday and raised the issue of arrests, torture and years of incarceration of Muslim youths in different parts of the country in the guise of fight against terror.

Some of the innocent victims after year’s of torture gained freedom through painfully slow legal process. They need to be given justice and rehabilited. The Prime Minister after listening to the leaders expressed his serious concern on the issue and assured the delegation that he would personally discuss the matter with the Home Minister to devise a mechanism under which these cases were thoroughly examined for the redressal of this grave injustice.
