Works of AMU professor will be subject of deliberations

Aligarh: Works of Dr. Mohd. Sanaullah Nadvi, a faculty with the Department of Arabic at the Aligarh Muslim University, will be a subject of deliberations at an international conference.

The University of Aal-al-Bait, Mitraq, Jordan is organizing an International Conference in collaboration with the International League of Islamic Literature, Riyadh (KSA) on April 23-24, 2013 in which Dr. Nadvi’s works and would be discussed.

This is a unique honour conferred upon Dr. Nadvi in the field of Arabic language. The conference will cover several aspects of Dr. Nadvi’s life and significant contribution to Arabic and Islamic Studies.

Dr. Sanaullah Nadvi has authored eight books in Arabic, English and Urdu besides over 130 research papers.

Earlier, Dr. Nadvi received Maharishi Badrayan Vyas Samman by the President of India in recognition of his significant works besides being honoured by Suez Canal University, Egypt, Kuwait University, JCST, Jordan, Ministry of Culture, Syrian Supreme Council of Arabic Language and University of Mentouri, Algeria etc.
