Chandigarh: Haryana Police arrested two men from the Jassiya bypass road in Rohtak district for their alleged involvement in cases of a theft of Rs.5 lakh and murder.
A spokesperson of Haryana Police said Monday evening that the accused are Sunder and his friend Sonu, residents of Kanhi village in Rohtak. They had looted Rs.5 lakh from a house in Kanhi village last month.
“The accused have admitted that after the robbery they went to Haridwar and then to Rajasthan, where they started working in a hotel in Sirohi,” said the spokesperson.
He added: “In Rajasthan, they were also involved in the murder of a man in Hamirwas area at a wedding after a quarrel with him.”
