Islamabad: Six people died in Pakistan’s Peshawar city Saturday when a suicide bomber struck at a political gathering.
The attacker detonated his explosives at a gathering of the Awami National Party in Dhaki Nalabandi area of Peshawar, Xinhua quoted the Urdu channel Samma TV as saying.
The blast took place around 6.20 p.m.
Several others, including a political leader, was injured, who injured were shifted to the Lady Reading Hospital in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.
