New Delhi: Two suspected terrorists on a mission to target VVIPs have been arrested here, police said Wednesday.
Sources said the two were planning to carry out major strikes and target VVIPs.
“Two terrorist have been arrested, but we cannot confirm which terrorist group they belong to. As of now we cannot divulge any other details,” Delhi Police spokesperson Rajan Bhagat told IANS.
Sources, however, said a team of special cell of Delhi Police received inputs from central intelligence agencies and coordinated with Jammu and Kashmir and Jharkhand police to nab the two men.
