Aligarh: Human’s Pride, a NGO run by the students of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) organised cloth distribution in areas around the slums of Aligarh. At most care was taken by the members to distribute clothes to the poor, who are in dire need of clothes. Earlier, clothes were collected by organising a cloth donation camp in AMU, which turned successful by active participation of Aligs.

The members went around in groups to Shahjamal, adjoining areas of Mahfooz Nagar, slums near Firdaus Nagar, Maulana Azad Nagar, Purani Chungi, the Railway cross near Begum Sultan Jahan Hostel, AL-Barkat School, IG Hall and Abdullah Hall for distributing clothes to the most needy people living out there.

Recently, the organisation had also distributed free quilts and blankets to people in slums near Indira Gandhi of AMU. The organization has been actively working in the areas of education, health and clothing and organized health camps at regular intervals.
