UN warehouse in Pakistan catches fire

Islamabad: A warehouse of the UN High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Pakistan caught fire, destroying thousands of tents kept there for distribution.

The fire, triggered by a welding work at the facility, is located in Chamkini area of Peshawar, capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhowa province, The News Sunday quoted witnesses as saying.

The blaze was doused.
