Bangalore : Dutee Chand of Odisha achieved a sprint double as she won the 200 metres while equalling the National and Meet record of 24.49 seconds in the 5th National Youth Athletics here Saturday.
Chand, who on Friday had won the 100 metres in a National record time, underlined her prowess as a sprinter while easily outpacing the 200-strong field.
Meanwhile, Meghana Shetty of Karnataka set a Meet record of 14.06 seconds in the girls’ 100 metres hurdles as against the previous best of 14.43, but just outside the National mark of 14.02.
