Azamgarh: Huda Milli School, Azamgarh, started functioning today with the recitation of Surah Al-Fatiha and Iqra Surah from holy Qur’an. Planned and developed by a team of doctors, teachers and social activists who are all members of Association for Welfare, Medical, Educational and Legal Assistance (AWMELA), the school strives to provide Muslim children quality education for overall personality development.
Dr. Javed Akhtar (President of AWMELA), other members of the society and well-wishers such as Dr. Fakhr-e-Alam, Asso. Prof. Salman Sultan, Dr. Ameer Alam, Mr. Tareeq Ahmad Khan, Dr. Kamaluddin, Dr. Zafar Tarique, Dr. Fakhrul Islam, Dr. Wahid Ali , Dr.Ehtesham, Dr. Dr. Aquil Ahmad, Asso. Prof. Javed Ali Khan, Dr. Azfer Ahmad, Dr. Shamim, Mr. Bhai, and Dr. Iqbal Ahmad were all present on the occassion.

In accordance with the spirit of Islam the school aims to preach and practice Islamic ethos for universal peace and prosperity, love and brotherhood, knowledge and empowerment. The school assures that under its guidance students will grow up into worthy citizens who will not fall prey to vices, immorality, pride and prejudice. The school intends to cultivate a religious faith that solely rests upon obedience and submission to the will of Allah.
The School aims to pay special attention to speaking skills, accent and aims at producing students who in later years can disseminate the message of Islam. In order to keep the students fit and agile, the learning and teaching in the school includes periods of drills, martial arts, sports and games.
As part of their aim to provide meaningful and receptive education to the students, the teaching methodology consists of the use of modern communicative technology involving audio-visual facilities.
