New Delhi : Veteran batswoman Anjum Chopra will lead the Indian women’s cricket team in the home series against Australia beginning March 12.
India and Australia are scheduled to play three One-day Internationals (ODI) starting March 12 and five Twenty 20 Internationals from March 18 to 23.
The All-India Women’s Selection Committee met at the Cricket Centre in Mumbai Feb 29 to pick the 15-member Indian squad.
The opening ODI will be played in Ahmedabad while Mumbai will host the next two March 14 and 16.
The T20 matches will be played in Visakhapatnam.
India squad: Anjum Chopra (captain), Mithali Raj (vice-captain), Jhulan Goswami, Poonam Raut, Archana Das, S Subhalaxmi, Reema Malhotra, Rumeli Dhar, Ekta Bist, Gauhar Sultana, Sunitha Anand, Harmanpreet Kaur, Mamta Kanojia, Sulakshana Naik, Nooshin-Al-Khadeer.
