Vienna : Russia and Austria have agreed to consolidate their cooperation against cyber crime by agreeing to have a common input for “enhanced global regulation”.
According to Austrian Interior Minister Johanna Mikl-Leitner, a common input for “enhanced global regulation” was agreed between the two countries Wednesday in their fight against cyber crime, Xinhua reported.
A high-level group will be founded on the subject of internet security, while a ministerial conference in this regard will be held this April in Vienna with participants including the members of the European Union, Russia and the US, the minister said.
The two countries would also strengthen cooperation in combating organised crime, illegal migration and border management, the minister said following a meeting with her Russian counterpart Sergey Bulawin.
