The biggest relief in the Delhi budget for 2012-13, presented Monday by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit was a reduction of Rs.1.26 per litre in petrol prices following a reduction in the value added tax.
What will become cheaper: Petrol, blood bag, hair pin and clip, safety pin, saree fall, dish scrub, kirpan, prasadum, sacred thread, misri, patasha, tricycle, kite, geometry box, colour and crayon, pencil sharpener and footwear upto Rs.500.
What will become more expensive: Compressed natural gas (CNG), uninterrupted power supply system, raw tobacco, cigarette, bidi, hookah tobacco, textiles except khadi, and plastic crockery.
