Tehran: At least four people, including a woman, were killed and 36 injured after a train derailed in central Iran overnight, local media reports said Saturday.
The accident occurred in Yazd province when the train’s engine and two cars derailed before entering a station at around 11.50 p.m. Friday. The train, heading from Zahedan city to Tehran, had 324 passengers on board, Xinhua reported.
The accident’s cause was being probed.
