Bangalore : Myanmar’s iconic pro-democracy leader Aung San Suu Kyi arrived here late Friday on a day’s visit.
She will fly to Ananthpur district in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh Saturday morning to see the working of the Mahatama Gandhi National Rural Employment Guarantee Scheme projects there.
On her return to Bangalore, Suu Kyi will attend a function at the Indian Institute of Science and later visit IT major Infosys. She leaves for Bangkok late Saturday.
