MIM has not submitted letter of withdrawal of support: AP Governor

Hyderabad: Andhra Pradesh Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan has claimed that his office didn’t receive any formal letter from Majlis-e-Itehadul-Muslimeen (MIM) on the withdrawal of support to the state Congress government.

Speaking to the press at the sidelines of Science Congress at Acharya Nagarjuna University, Governor said that there is no question of political uncertainty in the state as government is performing its duties and carrying out is welfare schemes as usual.

Congress is surviving with very thin margin of five seats more than simple majority of 148 in the 294 seats in state assembly.
After the alleged expansion of Bhagya Lakshmi Mandir adjacent to Charminar last Sunday, MIM declared Kiran Kumar Reddy led Congress Government as communal and anti-people.

Five days ago, last Monday, MIM after its executive meeting at its party headquarters has announced the withdrawal of its crucial support to congress govt. in the state and its formal support to UPA government at center.

MIM president in the crucial press conference of last Monday and on in many interviews has reiterated that there is no question of reversing their decision on withdrawal of support.

But nearly six days are passed and many events has unfolded in the media and the streets of old Hyderabad but the crucial thing went missing from MIM leadership side as Governor of AP has claimed that MIM is still to submit a formal letter to the governor on the withdrawal of its support to the Kiran Kumar Reddy government.
