New Delhi : Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit was Tuesday admitted to a private hospital for a “routine check-up”, an aide said.
“She has been admitted to Escorts Hospital for a routine check up. It is a normal check-up,” Mukesh Sharma, parliamentary secretary to the chief minister, told IANS.
“There is no need to worry and she will be discharged soon,” he added.
In December 2011, Dikshit, 73, was admitted to Escorts Hospital following high fever and viral infection.
