Congress again slams Kejriwal

By IANS,

New Delhi : The Congress Wednesday slammed anti-corruption activist Arvind Kejriwal over his fresh salvo against the Haryana government and reality major DLF, which has business links with party president Sonia Gandhi’s son-in-law Robert Vadra, and said he was shooting off his mouth without substantial evidence.

Party spokesperson Renuka Chowdhury said Haryana government and DLF had already refuted Kejriwal’s allegations. Answering queries, she said Kejriwal was shooting his mouth off without substantial evidence.

She accused Kejriwal of speaking in a “slipshod” way. “Because he randomly shoots, we’re are supposed to come out and answer,” she said. Referring to Kejriwal’s allegation Tuesday that 30 acres of land in Gurgaon was supposed to be used for constructing a hospital but the Haryana government had issued notifications to allow DLF to use it for a SEZ, she said the land did not belong to the stae government.

Kejriwal had Tuesday released a set of documents to establish an alleged quid pro quo between the Haryana Government and DLF. He had also questioned the steep rise in assets of Vadra in a few years. The party has been slamming Kejriwal over his accusations relating to Vadra.
