Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Tourism Minister, Tukojirao Puar held road shows at Muscat (Oman) and Turkey’s Ankara and Istanbul cities to attract foreign tourists to the state.
He updated his audience on the major historic and religious tourist destination in Madhya Pradesh and India.
Besides highlighting other tourist destinations in the country, he also pointed out about Taj-ul-Masajid, Jama Masjid and Moti Masjid of Bhopal and Bohra Masjid and Mumtaz Mahal at Burhanpur.
He added that tigers, sprawling forests, world heritage site Khajuraho, Bhimbethka, Sanchi and Mandu, Gwalior, Ujjain, Orchha and marble rocks of Bhedaghat are also attractive tourist destinations in MP.
The Madhya Pradesh Tourism Development Corporation will make available full information and CDs on the state’s tourist destinations through the embassy.
