Shillong : Meghalaya’s capital Shillong, popularly known as the “Scotland of the East”, is one of the top five tourist destinations in India, Chief Minister Mukul Sangma said Friday.
“I have travelled across the globe and I can tell you now that Shillong is one of the most beautiful hill stations in the world,” Sangma said at the launch of a travel store here.
