UAE, Egypt hold talks

    Cairo: The United Arab Emirates (UAE) and Egypt have held talks over their existing bilateral relations.

    The meet was held here Monday between Egyptian Prime Minister Hazem el-Beblawi received and UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan.

    During their meet, el-Beblawi said that Egypt’s real strength lies in its integration with the Arab region in order to exploit the financial surpluses of wealthy countries

    In his remarks during the meeting, Sheikh Abdullah underscored the prominent stature of Egypt as an Arab country saying: “the stability of Egypt means stability for all Arabs”.

    He also reaffirmed the UAE’s keen interest in providing full support to Egypt at the current time, not only through providing aid packages and loans to support Egypt’s currency reserves, but also through medium and long-term development programmes.
