BJP eying 272 seats in general polls: Amit Shah

    Ghaziabad : Bharatiya Janata Party’s Uttar Pradesh in-charge Amit Shah Tuesday said the party was determined to win 272 seats across the country in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

    Addressing about 250 party workers at the ABES Engineering College compound, Ghaziabad, Shah said the assembly polls in the four states of Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Delhi have indicated the country’s youth have pledged to make Narendra Modi the prime minister of India.

    He said booth management committees have to be strengthened for achieving the target.

    The party workers represented Uttar Pradesh West, Panchal Pradesh consisting of Bareilly region and Brij Pradesh comprising Mathura region. State party president Lakshmikant Bajpayee and former minister Santosh Gangwar were also present.
