Bhubaneswar : Odisha Monday got its first special fast track court to deal exclusively with cases related to crimes against women, an official said.
The assistant sessions court at Cuttak, some 30 km from here, was inaugurated by Orissa High Court Acting Chief Justice P.K. Mohanty, J.P. Das, registrar general of high court, told reporters.
The government has decided to set up such courts in each of the 30 districts by Feb 15. The courts will have their own buildings by March, a home department official said.
