Nizamabad town: Muslim Empowerment Movement (Nizamabad unit) organized a condolence meeting on demise of Moulana Suleman Sikandar at faqr-e-millat community hall shantinagar, Nizamabad. The organization and intellectuals paid rich tribute to eminent Muslim leader and vice president of Majlis tamer-e-millat Moulana Sikandar and recall his services towards the Muslim community.
The chief guest to the program Mohd syeeduddin retired principal Government junior college Bodhan addressed the meeting. He said that Molulana Suleman Sikander was been seen as a Islamic Scholar, who pledged all his life for the service of the community. He was among the ones who oversaw the remarkable journey of Tameer e Millat and its various contributions for uplifting the community.
Mr. Syeeduddin said Moualan Sikander was always on the side of justice and worked for right causes and raised voice passionately at every platform for welfare of the Muslims in India. He also added, “During the period of police action the Muslim community ware under depression and faces much problems for their livelihood and was set aside politically. In such a situations Moulana Sikander started his mission to bring awareness among the Muslim community and struggle a lot to achieve their constitutional rights. The demise of Moulana Suleman Sikandar is a great loss to the Muslim community which cannot be fulfill at this stage.
Abdul Ghani district convener MEM said with the death of Moulana Suleman Sikhandar the Muslims of Hyderabad and India lost a visionary leader who spent all his life in the service of Allah and Muslim community. Mr. Ghani added Moulana Sikander was the back bone of the organization Majlis-e-Tamir-e-Millat and tirelessly worked for the betterment of his community in every field.
Mr. Ghani speaking on the life of Moulana Sikander said “People who know him closely remember him as a simple man who never compromised on his principles of straightforwardness, he lived his life to serve the community and all his life he kept service ahead of self needs.”
He further added, “He lived all his life in a rented home, though he held various important positions in various bodies, toured across nation, but did not have enough money to present himself with comforts of life, such souls are rarest but they will be inspirations and role models for ages to come.”
M.A.Muqeet ex-corporator the organizer of the condolence meeting address by saying that “Moulana Sikander was a fervent speaker with his emotional speeches he generated warmth in the hearts of Muslims.” Mr. Muqeet said, Moulana Sikander was one of the close associates of late Syed Khaleelullah Hussaini, founder President of Majlis-e-Tameer-e-Millat, and paid vote of thanks to all the participants students, leaders, intellectuals, social activist for taking out their precious time to attend the program.
M.A.Nayeem Telugu Desam Party Leader, Mohd Riyaz social activist also spoke on the occasion. Lastly MEM prayed that May Allah give him elevated positions in the jannah and may he be rewarded in abundance for all this good work, may his family and loved once get the courage to bear the loss.
