India win toss, to field in Eden ODI

By IANS,

Kolkata : India captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the toss and chose to field under overcast conditions in the crucial second one-dayer against Pakistan at the Eden Gardens here Thursday.

“The wicket has been under covers, the conditions are overcast so we want to exploit it. There is considerable amount of pressure after losing the first game, it is a do-or-die situation,” Dhoni said after the toss.

“It’s a good feeling to be one-up in a three-match series. In Chennai there was more moisture in the pitch, this one looks dry,” said Pakistan skipper Misbah-ul-Haq.

While Pakistan fielded an unchanged side, India brought in all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja for Rohit Sharma.
