Aligarh: The Aligarh Muslim University Lawn Tennis team has won the North Zone Intervarsity Tennis (Men) Tournament defeating Delhi University by 4-1 at Dr. BRA NIT, Jalandhar on Tuesday.
Earlier, AMU managed to win all the matches it played by defeating its opponent 3-0. The AMU team also qualified for the All India Intervarsity Tennis Tournament starting from February 1 at Dr BRA NIT Jalandhar. The AMU team comprised of Chandril Sood, Lashit Sood, Saim Farooqui, Mohammad Nasir and S. Fawad Ahmad Naqvi.
