Kabul: Seven people, including a key anti-Taliban figure, were killed and eight injured in a suicide bombing incident in Afghanistan’s Ghazni province, police said Saturday.
The attack was carried out in a market Friday evening where Daulat Khan, a key anti-Taliban figure in the province, was shopping.
“Daulat Khan was busy in shopping in Qarabagh bazaar on Friday evening when a suicide bomber blew himself up killing Khan along with three of his bodyguards,” reported Xinhua citing deputy provincial police chief Assadullah Insafi.
