AMU faculty to participate in study on religious pluralism in USA

    Aligarh: Dr. Rachana Kaushal, Assistant Professor, Department of Political Science, Aligarh Muslim University has been invited by US Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs, Washington DC, to participate in a six week study on “Religious Pluralism”. The study programme, scheduled for a period from June 22 to August 4, 2013, is being organized by US Department of State and funded by Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs. The programme is hosted by university of California Santa Barbara.

    The programme aims at providing scholars a substantive initial exposure to the US. The invitation includes a five-week academic residency and two week integrated study tour and interaction with US faculty. A total fifteen participants from across the globe have been selected to participate in the study. Dr. Rachana kaushal is the only teacher from India to be a part of the study.
