Speaking at the inauguration of Confederation of Indian Industries’ Knowledge Management Summit 2013, CII president Adi Godrej said that the good news is that we have excellent companies with excellent practices to pull from.

Godrej said that one such platform is this annual CII summit, which brings together various stakeholders from industry, academia, public sector, and society to enter into learning, discussion and debate.

Ganesh Natarajan who has been leading the initiative for the CII since 2011 pointed out that the focus has moved from just technology to include business processes, organisation culture and leadership, all of which contribute to the effective management of knowledge in organisations.

Chief marketing and knowledge officer of Booz & Company, Tom Stewart, managing director of McKinsey & Company Noshir Kaka, Chairman & geography managing director of Accenture India Avinash Vashistha and many others were present at the summit.
