Gurgaon : A 29-year-old man has been arrested for raping and blackmailing a 22-year-old married woman, police said here Sunday.
The victim in her complaint told police that Rajbir Singh, who is married and has two children, was known to her as the two hail from Mahendragarh district in Haryana and are relatives.
“The accused was blackmailing the woman by taking her obscene pictures and raped her on several occasions,” Tarun Kumar, investigation officer in the case, told IANS.
A case of rape was registered at the city’s Civil Lines police station after the woman told her husband about the blackmail, Kumar said.
