New Delhi: Two men were stabbed to death in separate incidents in the national capital, police said Friday.
In the first case, Rajkumar, 20, was attacked by four men near his home in Baljeet Nagar area Thursday night.
Rajkumar was with two friends when he was attacked.
Police said Rajkumar had slapped one of the accused a little earlier. He then came back with three friends and attacked Rajkumar with a knife and sticks.
Police are probing the reason why Rajkumar had slapped one of the attackers.
Rajkumar received four stab wounds in the abdomen and succumbed to his injuries. The accused have been identified but they are on the run.
In the second incident, an auto-rickshaw driver was stabbed to death by unknown people on the BRT corridor in south Delhi Thursday night.
Passersby spotted driver Avneesh Kumar, 27, lying in a pool of blood. He was taken to a hospital where doctors declared him brought dead.
Police said it seems personal enmity is the reason behind the murder but they are investigating the case from all possible angles.
