Mewat: Peoples Movement against UAPA and Azeezul Hind NGO organized a join meeting here. The participants discussed that draconian UAPA is being used by Delhi Police to harass people of Mewat. Therefore they resolved to raise awareness about this law. A program has been organized in Talkatora Stadium on March 5th to demand repeal of UAPA. Muhammad Sajid Ameeni of Peoples Movement against UAPA urged everyone to ensure maximum participation at the Delhi program.
Participants also discussed that Gurgaon with a population of 6 lakhs deserve two Lok Sabha seats.
Akbar Qasmi, Master Afsar, Chaudhry Arshad Namak, Zafaruddin Ilyasi, Sabir Qasmi among other attended the meeting.
