Tehran: Iranian football club Esteghlal’s defender Pejman Montazeri Saturday joined Qatar’s Umm Salal.
Montazeri will replace Australian defender Sasa Ognenovski in Umm Salal, reports Xinhua.
The Iranian 31-year-old signed an 18-month deal with Umm Salal for an undisclosed fee.
The Iranian international defender joined Esteghlal in 2007 and has won two Iran league and two Iran cup titles.
