Aligarh: The Aligarh Movement magazine and the Millat Bedari Muhim Committee ( MBMC ) jointly held a seminar, “Redefining was honoured with Sir Syed Mission Award in recognition of his contribution to “Academic Excellence “.
Ramakant Chaturvedi , News In charge of Daily Jagran and Pradeep Saxena, Bureau Chief of The Hindustan Times were also honoured . The winners and the participants of the Sir Syed Essay Writing Competition -2014 were awarded prizes and certificate of participation.
Addressing the seminar, Pro Vice Chancellor, Brgd. Syed Ahmad Ali said that we all should take oath to carry forward mission of Sir Syed and ensure that this institution may achieve top rank in academics. We must remember that when this university will move ahead then all those who are connected with it will also achieve success. We should have our aim to realise the dream of Sir Syed.
While thanking the organisation, he said that the movement launched by MBMC for awarding “Bharat Ratna ” to Sir Syed should be supported by all .
Jasim Mohammad, Editor of Aligarh Movement magazine said that they are holding essay writing competition since last five years. We have also launched the movement to demand Bharat Ratna for Sir Syed . He demanded that Sir Syed Study Centre should be established in university.
