Kabul : At least 30 Taliban militants were killed in operations across Afghanistan, authorities said Sunday.
“Operations were carried out by the Afghan National Security Forces (ANSF) against militants in Nangarhar, Baghlan, Farah and Helmand provinces of Afghanistan,” Xinhua reported, citing from an official statement.
The ANSF confiscated rounds of ammunition, 10 motorcycles and eight vehicles during the operations, according to the statement.
They also defused seven roadside bombs planted by the militants, the statement said, without adding if the security forces suffered any casualties.
Earlier Sunday, at least two civilians were wounded in a bomb attack in eastern Khost province, officials said.
