New Delhi : Chinese President Xi Jinping arrived in the national capital late Wednesday evening after a visit to Ahmedabad in Gujarat.
Earlier, Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan reached Ahmedabad Wednesday afternoon to begin a three-day India sojourn.
In Ahmedabad, three agreements were inked in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the Chinese president.
Xi and Modi also visited the picturesque Sabarmati Ashram, where the Chinese president took a stroll on the picturesque Sabarmati riverfront, sat on a swing and watched traditional folk dances of Gujarat.
On Thursday, Modi and Xi would hold talks at Hyderabad House, which would be followed by the inking of several agreements, including on infrastructure and railways.
