Welfare party begins a caravan from Kochi for ‘pro-people politics’

Kochi: Kerala unit of the Welfare Party of India started a caravan on April 10 from Kochi led by Hameed Vaniyamabalam, the president of state committee. The Caravan that will travel whole of the state till May 4 has the theme of ‘pro-people politics’ with the slogan “corporate-communal-corruption” free Kerala.

Sheema Mohsin, National Secretary, Welfare Party inaugurated the gathering. In her inaugural speech she condemned, what she termed as the “anti-people politics” of the current central government of the NDA.


Caravan towards pro-people Politics starts with Grand gathering in Kochi, Kerala

Fr Abraham Joseph, the Vice president of Welfare party, handed over the flag to Hameed vaniyambalam. In His adress Fr Abraham Joseph said that it is the trumpet of value based politics, adding that the “worst government is ruling” Kerala currently.

SP Udaya Kumar, the president of anti-nuclear movement in Kadankulam PMANE, declared his Solidarity to the caravan and also urged for the support of Kerala people to their fight against Nuclear power plant in Kudamkulam.

Caravan will host several receptions and rallies in 100 cities and villages in all part of Kerala.
