“We planned to celebrate the close relations and time-tested friendship between India and Saudi Arabia by donating blood. We collected around 143 litres of blood from the volunteers who came to donate their blood as a mark of respect to their motherland, which made them what they are today,” said Cholapuram Haja, TNTJ Blood donation coordinator and Secretary.

KFMC blood bank supervisor Dr. Reham Al Suwaia and the blood bank coordinator James Cidando lauded the group for its voluntary service.
