India needs alternative politics to protect its values: SDPI’s Thumbe

By TCN News,

Al Ain (UAE): Addressing a convention of Indian Cultural Society here, Elyas Muhammad Thumbe, a member of the national working committee of Social Democratic Party of India, said even after 67 years of independence, the situation of deprived, backward sections and the people of rural areas in India is deteriorating as they are severely lacking basic amenities and infrastructure.

“The ruling political parties are protecting the interests of corporates and upper classes of the country. The communal fascist parivar are penetrating into the secular fabric of the nation by attacking the minorities and spreading hate among the religion. Polarization of voters through communal sentiments by the narrow minded political parties are really the matter of concern. The new generation in India is opting for alternative political parties to get rid of such disrupting political treacheries,” Thumbe said.
