Indian consulate officials visited the injured Indian pilgrims

Jeddah: Consulate General of India in Jeddah has released the names of 19 Indians injured and two dead by the Crane that collapsed in Masjid Haram in Makkah. The crane collapse killed eighty-seven and injured 201 according to the Arab News. Officials blamed heavy wind for the crane collapse.
Moniza Ahmed from West Bengal and Muameena Ismail from Kerala are among the dead.

Indian Social Forum, an organization of Indians in Saudi Arabia has expressed deepest condolences over the death of the worshippers and wished speedy recovery for the injured. ISF Karnataka chapter western Region President Mr Muhammad Ismail said on the official press release statement. He added we pray for eternal peace of the departed souls and commiserated with the bereaved families.
