Patna: After a brief meeting with Bihar Chief Minister, UAE chapter of AMU Alumni Forum has said that Bihar government is keen to hold a special conference for Non Residential Indians (NRIs) and will make required arrangements soon for such summit in Patna.
In an hour long discussion with Nitish Kumar on flight in route to Delhi from Patna, Syed Muhammad Qutub-Ur-Rahman, President of AMU Alumni Forum, UAE requested him to hold NRI summit at Dubai with the view of development in Bihar to which he responded positively and said he will also organize such conference in Patna.
“He expressed willingness in organizing NRIs conference at Patna and also assured of sending a team to Dubai for NRIs’ summit there. I told him that AMU Alumni Forum and another NGO Human Chain will offer every possible help in making these summits successful “,Qutub-Ur-Rahman told TwoCircles.net.
Before this meeting, he had also met Dr.Ashok Choudhry, Education Minister of Bihar who is also President of Bihar Congress and discussed Muslim community issues with him. He specifically pointed out a need of establishing more schools and colleges in Muslim areas so that community’s educational and economical backwardness can be checked.
“He too responded very positively and said that Bihar government is serious about helping Muslims’ in solving their educational problems and have already started some work in that regards”, Qutub-Ur-Rahman told.
