Kannur (Kerala) : Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) Kerala state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan Wednesday accused National Security Advisor (NSA) M.K. Narayanan of trying to portray China as an enemy of India.
“Narayanan is conducting himself like an encyclopaedia, providing answers to all the problems. He says China is against India,” Vijayan said, referring to Nayaranan’s reported comments on the role of China at the Nuclear Suppliers Group (NSG) meeting in Vienna last week.
Speaking at a function organised by CPI-M’s newspaper Deshabhimani here, Vijayan said every action now taken in the country was according to the agenda set by the US. It was the US which was trying to portray China as the villain who tried to scuttle the NSG waiver for India, he said.
