Kolkata : Communist Party of India-Marxist (CPI-M) politburo member Sitaram Yechury Saturday emphasised on the need for a third political option at the centre and asked the young generation to help form that alternative.
“All the opposition forces, which are against communists, are unitedly opposing our initiatives. They are constantly conspiring against us. At this point of time, we need to stand up and face the challenges,” Yechury said at the 13th Students Federation of India (SFI) conference at Rani Rashmani Road in central Kolkata here.
“I urge all the members of the young generation to come forward and form a resistance against these adverse forces. It is high time our youths come and decide what their political future would be.”
