New Delhi : Supporters of a Congress legislator denied a ticket to fight the Delhi assembly elections staged a protest outside the party office here Friday.
Supporters of Brahmpal, who represents the Trilokpuri seat, shouted slogans and protested against the party’s decision to field Archana Pracha from the constituency.
Brahmapal, 61, has been a member of the Delhi assembly since 1993. He has also been a member of various house committees.
Meanwhile, Braham Prakash Yadav, co-chairman of the Delhi Congress, alleged that candidates were being selected in exchange for money. Veteran party leader Margaret Alva made the same allegation Thursday.
