The event, under the slogan “National reconciliation, our way to the future,” is in session before the national Conference of political leaders that will take place in Nov 10, also this capital.

The participants declared they agreed that talks with Egyptian government as mediator must highlight the sense of serving the great interests of the Palestinian people over the narrow interests of parties.

Our wise people, teachers and civil society men who are not member of any faction, urged to back their progress to achieve reconciliation, pointed out the Palestinian University rector in Gaza Strip Yusef Abu Dia.

Besides those academic institutions the event was sponsored by the National Research Center on The Middle East of Egypt and other associations from the civil society.
