A function of dastaar-bandi was organized last Sunday to graduate 19 ulema and 40 huffaz. Dastaar-bandi is the tradition tying of turban to signal completion of studies at the institute.
Maulana Wali Rahmani who is the sajjada-nasheen of Khanqah Rahmania said that though Muslims have faced troubles on numerous occasion but its belief in Islam has not been shaken and this is not because of Qutub Minar or Taj Mahal but having strong connection with religious places like masjids, madrasas, and khanqahs.
Muslims will continue to prosper and be strong till they continue this relationship, he added.
Rahmani, who is also associated with All India Muslim Personal Law Board, said that anti-Islami forces want to weaken the relationship of Muslims with these religious institutions. He suggested ulemas to keep themselves associated with madrasas.
Maulana Rahmani linked floor of madrasas with the platform of Sufa in Masjid-e-Nabvi of Madina. Sufa is the platform where a number of companions of the Prophet used to sit and engage themselves in learning of Islam.
"Recognise your value, as long as you are associated with madarsas, whole world and the herereafter will be under your feet", he said. He said that Jamia Rahmani is not only limited to education but is always there to serve the community whenever the need arise. He talked about the contributions of Khanqah Rahmania and Jamia Rahmani in Imarat Shariah and the Muslim Personal Law Board, in serving people and the country. He said that institutions of Rahmania have always guided the community where it is issue of blaming madrasas for teaching of terrorism or harassment of Muslims in the name of Bangaldeshi immigrants. Rahmani Foundation and Rahmani 30 are also tools to serve the community.
Maulana Rahmani urged others to join in his mission which he described as a mission to identify and polish the diamonds of the community.
