Sana’a : Some 6500 local societies and organisations are working under supervision of the ministry of the social affairs and labor, News Yemen said on Friday.
The news website quoted Deputy Minister of the Social Affairs and Labor Ali Saleh Abdullah as saying that only 25 per cent of these organisations who are working affectively.
He also pointed out to the role of the local societies in different fields of the development in the country, saying that the government supports these societies and organisations with YR 300 million.
He made it clear that the ministry is working to prepare a study on the condition of these societies and organisation.
