New Delhi: Dr. Nadeem Hasnain, Professor of anthropology at Lucknow University was offered to be the Pro Vice Chancellor of Mahatma Gandhi International University at Wardha(Maharashtra). After having accepted the offer, he has taken charge this week.
Professor Hasnain is a well known social scientist, teacher, researcher and social activist. He has published 12 books and a number of research papers. He is also the editor of The Eastern Anthropologist and Islam and Muslim Societies:A Social Science Journal. Formerly, he has been Fulbright Scholar in USA and visiting professor at St.Lawrence University, New York.
Established in 1997, Mahatma Gandhi Inernational Hindi University in Wardha is setup to promote and develop Hindi language and literature.
