Patna: Munger based Rahmani Foundation has decided to set up a coaching centre in Munger to prepare Muslim students for exams to various vacancies in Staff Selection Commission, Railways, and Banking sectors. The decision to setup the coaching center in Munger was taken because of non-availability of a suitable place in Patna.
A meeting of Rahmani Foundation held on 8th December here in central office of Rahmani-30, a preparatory coaching institute for IIT-JEE exclusively for Muslim students, and attended by many eminent personalities concerned about education of Muslims decided to set up this coaching centre.
It was presided over by Ahmad Ashfaque Karim, managing director of Katihar Medical College, Katihar, and general secretary, National Educational Board. The functioning of Rahmani-30 which is running under guidance of Abhyanand, Additional Director General of Police in Bihar, was supervised in this meeting and was decided to open a new coaching centre in Munger for preparation of selection examination of railway, banking and SSC for Muslim students to ensure their bright future and also improve Muslim participation in government jobs.
It was decided in the meeting that a written examination for selection of students for this coaching institute will held at 11 a.m. on 28th December on different examination centers of the state. Reporting time for the examination is 10 a.m. Qualified students will be finally shortlisted on the basis of interviews.
Notice regarding this entrance will be advertised on large scale. The examination centres will be Patna Muslim High School, BM Das Road,Patna, Hadi Hashmi High School, Gaya, Mata Gunjari Medical College, Kishanganj, Katihar Medical College, Katihar, Convent School, Rambagh, Purnea, Mahila Technical Centre, Supaul, Azad Academy, Araria, Awasiya Adarsh Madhya Vidyalaya Shikshak Sangh, Refugee Colony, Saharsa, Dr Zakir Hussain Teachers Training College, Darbhanga, Central Public School, Sadpura, Muzaffarpur, Alfalah School, Naya Tola, Betiah, AR Academy, Kaghazi Mohalla, Biharsharif, Muslim Minority College, Bhagalpur, Chauhan Coaching Centre, Radha Ram Singh Road, Ghanta Ghar,Bhagalpur , ZA Islamia College, Siwan, Rahmani Foundation Head Quarter, Belan Bazar, Munger.
Those students who have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or have higher qualification or pursuing and have at least one year of age is left for government jobs and they have determination to qualify entrance examination of railway, SSC and banking can appear in this entrance examination. The application form to appear in this examination will be available from 20th to 26th December between 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on the aforesaid centers.
All the arrangement of coaching, accommodation, food of 100-125 students will be made by the foundation free of cost. Mr Faiyaz Hali, director, Hadi Hashmi High School and Dr Manaziruddin, director, Central Public School, Muzaffarpur, appreciated the steps taken by the foundation towards upliftment of education among Muslim community and said that now the feeling is improving within the students of the community that their elders are serious for bright and successful future and are putting efforts. Muslim youths will be encouraged with these efforts and will prepare themselves for competitive examinations.
President of the meet Ahmad Ashfaque Karim said that this praiseworthy step of Maulana Syed Mohammad Wali Rahmani will encourage other organizations to work on this pattern.
When asked that students of Jharkhand can appear in this test Maulana Wali Rahmani said that their all efforts for upliftment of Muslim youths are free from all geographical boundaries. Whatever capacity I have I will try to enlighten the community. If any student from Jharkhand is interested can appear in the examination and if selected then he will have to live in Munger for preparation, he said.
