Mexico City : One person was killed and four were injured when a small plane crashed in northern Mexico Saturday, officials said.
The Cessna plane crashed and caught fire less than half a kilometre from the airstrip at the Ramos Arizpe airport in Coahuila state, officials said.
The occupants, reporters and provincial government officials, suffered severe burns and were brought to a clinic in San Diego, California.
Initial indications showed that the motor had stopped working, making it impossible for the pilot to navigate to the airport.
